Atlanta!

Just as I was finishing up that last post, I got this wonderful email. I am so grateful for these kind people, and their willingness to serve. They sent out five missionary sons of their own, so I am sure that her mother heart knew how badly I needed to hear that he was there and safe and smiling! 
 

Dear Brother and Sister Bates,

We would like you to experience your son’s earliest moments in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission.  We received 27 new Elders and Sisters today.  We know there is a reason why they are here!  The entire mission is alive with anticipation and enthusiasm.    The joy we feel is much like Alma and the four sons of Mosiah when they ‘rejoiced exceedingly’ when their paths crossed in their missionary journey. 

We deeply honor the families and the ‘village’ that have made it possible for Elder Bates to serve with us here.  Your missionary will email you soon.
