Rain rain rain rain rain

So if any of you know how weather works in Georgia, you know what the subject is talking about. If you don't let me explain. Have you ever heard the phrase, "when it rains, it pours"? Yeah. Georgia. It started raining Saturday night and still hasn't stopped. I miss the sun right now. It doesn't help that our car has a bad battery, so we spend about half am hour every morning trying to find someone to give us a jumpstart. It's a whole lot of fun.

But anyways, all is well here in Georgia. The people are nice, the food is good. And we are super close to getting an investigator on date to be BAPTISED. That's right.

I've appreciated all the emails and such people have been sending. But I gave everyone a faulty mailing address. I'm supposed to have everything sent to 513 Trace Ln. Instead of the address on old Norcross. Sorry for the confusion.

Anyways, that's all I have for this week, so I guess this is it.

Until next time,
Elder Bates

I almost forgot! This picture is of me and this amazing person named ELI. We go play uno with him on Sunday mornings. He got in a really bad car accident when he was younger and the doctors said he wouldn't make it, and if he did, he'd be a vegetable. Yesterday, he told us that he's going to start going back to rehab so he can walk again. He is the very definition of a miracle. His car was hit by 7 other cars and by all means he shouldn't be here. So whenever you ask him how he is he replies "I'm alive so I can't complain" and he gives you the world's brightest smile ever. He's the kind of happy I aspire to be.

That's all for this week, so as ELI would say, peace out Brohym.

Elder Bates
 Eli
