Baptism by Fire

So, we had a baptism on Saturday. Our investigator just barely became a member and it was awesome. But something really funny happened that day.

So we went to the church an hour early to fill up the font, and we made sure the water was warm enough that we wouldn't freeze him to death. But we got there to start the baptism and our branch President said it wasn't full enough. So one of the other Elders that was there went back and turned the water on super high so that we could fill it a little more. So we start the service and it was really great, on of the Elders that taught Airris for a few months gave a talk on baptism, then we went to perform the actual baptism. Brother Beaton was getting into the font first but the water was too hot! The other elder had turned on the hot water. So we turned on the cold water and the branch President dumped a bag of ice into the font. Needless to say, it was a baptism to remember.

Other than that, this week has been pretty average. We've been doing a ton of finding to increase our teaching pool. So yeah, pretty average and boring.

On the bright side, I took a lot of photos!
